Stress

Read Now

Did you know stress can make you sick?  The American Institute of Stress has concluded that stress is the basic cause of 60 percent of all human illnesses and disease.

Stress increases the risk of stroke by 50 percent and risk of heart disease by 40 percent. One in five Americans reports “extreme stress” with symptoms such as shaking, heart palpitations, and depression. Stress management strategies are critical in maintaining wellness and disease prevention.

Supplements are an easy, cost-effective method of managing stress, as long as they are targeting at the right symptoms. If your stress symptom is insomnia, try taking magnesium, melatonin, and valerian root. If you get headaches as a result of stress you may need vitamins B6 and B2 along with feverfew.

Maybe pain is what you experience. If so, Omega 3s and curcumin are a great start to feeling better. Whatever your symptoms caused by stress, be sure to research which supplements can help soothe and bring relief so you can be your best self.
