Did you know that food allergies aren't necessarily about the foods themselves?

For kids, food allergies can leave them out of social events and can be a real source of embarrassment. For both kids and adults, it can be life-threatening if it goes unchecked. Author and TV Show Host, Doug Kauffman of Know the Cause, has studied allergies for years.

He believes that when food molecules leak through the lining of the gut, they cause allergies. It has also been called the leaky gut syndrome and has a lot to do with too much yeast in the body. Studies have shown that changing the diet to exclude most grains and sugars can greatly help decrease food allergies.

It is also recommended to take antifungal supplements in rotation such as caprylic acid and neem. Try adding fiber supplements, such as psyllium husk,  to your diet. Fiber helps bind to the mycotoxins that come from yeast and move them out of the body. A probiotic is also essential in balancing out your system to fight off allergies.
